Who?

“We had the medical and the business world in our family. I am thrilled that I bring expertise from these two worlds together and can make a real difference for patients and health systems”, says Magdalene Rosenmöller. She is a Professor at the Operation Management Department of IESE Business School in Spain.

Why?

Magdalene Rosenmöller: “The ageing of the European population and the associated increase in chronic diseases presents a challenge to Europe’s health and social security systems. The evidence gained in this project will contribute to the optimisation of care delivery processes and organisation in different European settings.”

What?

Project INTEGRATE will provide recommendations for integrated care policies. Magdalene Rosenmöller explains: “Integrated care focuses on coordinated and integrated forms of care provision. We will use successful examples of integrated care in Europe to tease out lessons for the organisation and management of integrated care.”

How?

The INTEGRATE consortium brings together a specialised team of ten partners from Belgium, Estonia, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. “We will promote learning, develop guidance and share ideas to adopt and successfully apply integrated care", says Professor Rosenmöller.
